All the Light We Cannot See was gripping, enchanting, beautifully written and sometimes absolutely devastating. The characters are artistically crafted, flawed and fundamentally lovable. I absolutely loved reading it and will certainly need a few days to recover!

'Werner can feel the streets rising around them, whorling slowly into an engulfing spiral, into the center of which the truck will arc downward, tracing deeper and deeper all the time.'

This comes after one of the most devastating moments of the book so far, for me at least, and I was not coping..
