I worry that I like this so much just b/c it hits on my confirmation bias so hard, but still, I‘d recommend it.

HIDDEN VALLEY ROAD. | ROBERT. KOLKER
Pickpick

At times, reads almost like a horror novel. It presents mental health issues from such a personal perspective. This book elicited a range of emotions from deepest sympathy to bleakest hopelessness. Highly recommend.

An interesting look behind the curtain of life in tech. Weiner has a great voice and often uses startling comparisons to offer an insight. Her tendency to both praise and critique a thing can feel like hedging at times, but overall I enjoyed. I listened to the audiobook version...

I love me some Stephen Graham Jones. He's like a crazy, creepy idea factory that works 24/7. But not just that, he's also a damn fine writer.
This book deals with a group of friends, all Native American, who, 10 years ago, had a little run in with a herd of Elk. They went hunting on the Elder's land, shot a bunch of elk, including a cow in calf. Well, let's just say, beyond losing their hunting privileges for there, they'd face consequences.
