I'm so excited to read this book! I've heard good things but only from a handful of people.

The Rose and the Dagger is the sequel to The Wrath and the Dawn; a retelling of 1001 Nights. This series is YA and a pleasure read if you are looking for adventure and romance. The first book had me hooked with it's interesting take on the classic and the second was worth reading to finish the story

So far I'm really enjoying this book. As an archaeologist I tend to think of looters as horrible people but this book is showing me different perspectives. Who owns culture? This and other archaeological questions are discussed in this book. I'm intrigued to read his conclusions.
