Stunning. I'm floored by the beauty and clarity of Coates' writing. On the flip side, the reader can't ignore the harsh reality he reveals, this world that many of us (myself included) don't experience. It was a privilege to look into this world and the stitches between it.

It took SO much effort not to bail on this one. Gah. I probably should have. I couldn't stand the protagonist, and everyone else is just as flat and uninteresting. The writing made me cringe. Stop comparing things to Godzilla already.
