pickI really liked this. Have to admit, though, there was more than once where I said to myself – call the police! Don‘t do these things yourself (and that includes “talking to” Frank – he‘s not a cop, anymore!). This was the 2nd book in a series, but to be honest, I remember next to nothing of the first book, so I would say you don‘t need to read the first one first
bailedFelt the same as Lovelight Farms: difficult to catch on to and connect with. So many people with a lot to follow, and the skipping around plus flashbacks also got confusing

pickSuch a great read about unlikely friendships and second chances. This author, Sean Dietrich, is known as “Sean of the South”, because he writes stories that capture the essence of Southern life and the human spirit. And he definitely does with this one. I loved reading the “note from the author” in the back just as much as I loved this story.
pickI enjoyed this book. I liked the treasure hunter vibes with newfound/old friends. Also, I liked underlining lessons and morals in this book. 5/5
pickSoft pick, but I do love this cover! This is the sequel to Lovelight Farms and focuses on Beckett and Evie. I wanted to like this book more than I did, but I got a little bored of these two just constantly lusting after each other without actually having real conversations. It felt unrealistic/eye rolly that shagging for two nights, no real talking, has left them both pining for a year. I liked both these characters but wanted more from their ⬇
