Another beautiful chapter in this manga series. 4.5⭐️

The art in this one is GORGEOUS and is definitely carrying it for me. The story is very much a love story and is just okay for me for now. It's only 10 vols (or 5 omnis) long so definitely doable still.

Urasawa is HEAVY. And political. And convoluted. That being said… Monster was better executed. This one started off strong with an amazing premise (somewhat on point these days), but then… it just ended. And to just be cut short after (technically) 22 volumes? WTF. NOTHING is explained.

I found out that there is a one volume sequel: 21st Century Boys. Manga fans… do I get it?

I‘m not sure what to rate… ⭐️⭐️⭐️?

I'm actually behind in reading the series. That isn't stopping me from buying them as the new ones get released, however.

Heard very little about this series but am REALLY enjoying it. Very interesting take on vampires!

New lesson learned: when you have only about 5-10 minutes left to read in a book, then don't try to go to sleep without finishing it... My brain kept buzzing for AGES.

Volume 2 is a lot of fun, and I read it so fast. I really should order volume 4, since I'm sure I'll devour volume 3 as well...

Yep... this was the right choice for my mood. I've read two thirds of it already; saving the last part for right before bed, or maybe tomorrow. I only have one more volume already owned, so I might have to shake my book budget later to see if I can order volume four.

I still swear I'm not deliberately avoiding a #BookSpinBingo, but... I think if I can grab some time today, I'm going to start the second Apothecary Diaries light novel. I love Maomao and her scientific approach to the world so much.

My dude, that‘s a very big deal and def should be investigated… this poor kid, saddled with two bad parents on either end of the spectrum (one way too hands on and the other way too hands off).
This manga is creepy and unsettling and I‘m basically bingeing it as fast as I can get from library. Probably should be worried about that fact - but zero regrets here. 😬😳😂

Apothecary Diaries, volumes 5-9
Been really enjoying this series! And the anime too! Volume 9 ends pretty much where I‘m at in terms of the anime. Can‘t wait to read volumes 10-12 that I just got from the Crunchyroll sale 👍🏼 This is another series that I recommend 😊
