Wednesday is #reccomandsday ! I just finshed this amazing collection of short stories. They are beautifully dark and eerie. The familiar fairy takes we all know have been given back some of their original darkness and then some. I already reread The Lady of the House of Love because it's so beautifully written. Carters writing is gorgeous, I savoured every sentence. I had to look up some words though! Very decadent writing style.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wednesday is #reccomandsday ! This beautiful book contains four short ghostly stories. They are not very scary but after reading them all (in one evening! ) I was left feeling a bit spooked anyway. Not all stories are equally great. Boy Twenty-One was my favourite! A little creepy but more about the strength of friendship. Alice Baker was the creepiest one for me. I'll definately come back to these stories, great for cold months and tea!🌟🌟🌟🌟

erzascarletbookgasm That's a gorgeous cover! Added to my wish list! 8y
I-read-and-eat @erzascarletbookgasm I just found out all her ghost story books have these type of hardback covers 😍 Already picturing them all on my shelfs! 8y
Emory What a beautiful book! Definitely going to try to pick this one up! 8y
I-read-and-eat @Emory You should! The cover alone makes it worth every penny 😊 8y
