Just realized I completely forgot to read up for my #sundaybuddyread 🤦🏻‍♀️ I ended up working Tuesday - Friday to cover for a teacher off with the flu and I‘m in again tomorrow. My weekend got thrown driving to Toronto to pick up oldest who‘s come home from Uni to start a teacher practicum tomorrow, these chunksters are killing me #readingforecast #nonfictionnovember #europacollective #littenslovesjm

This week's #readingforecast is very black and golden, and one worded.

Recently people have been sharing some amazing books by BAME authors, many of which I have added to my TBR. However, I am currently doing a personal sustainability challenge which includes no new books (other than for uni) until I‘ve cut my owned-TBR at least in half😬 So I went to my shelves and picked 3 books by BAME authors that are
going to be my next reads, starting with Know My Name.

#BAMEauthors #readingforecast

Emilymdxn Know My Name was one of the best books I read last year! It's an incredible memoir, I knew she was going to have a powerful story to tell but I was overwhelmed by what a talented writer she was. I hope you love it as much as I did! Sustainability always awesome, there'll be time for buying more books by BAME authors when your tbr is dealt with :) 5y
ramblingsofareader @Emilymdxn that sounds great! I‘m really eager to get going on it, technically reading it for my dissertation but it has been on my list for a while! Yes I‘m definitely going to make a more conscious effort to buy books by BAME authors/publishers/booksellers in the future & keep educating myself :) 5y
