pickAfter 15 years of living in Sacramento I've been noticing lately that I have a love/hate relationship with my city. I've lived here longer than any where else. I have a lot of memories here, but I don't see myself putting down roots, or growing old here. Reading this book was eye opening and inspiring. A mix of personal anecdotes and research, the author gives lots of examples of how one can actively learn to love where they live.

Lovely book in which #Kindness is reciprocal for the young girl Alice and her elderly neighbor Miss Millie. Kindness begets kindness. Quite memorable

This book is a really beautifully written. It would be really helpful in the classroom and out of the classroom. This book has theme of lo lines and beauty which can be seen with new students or new families that are trying to find their belongingness.
