monalyisha @Regi_C if you search the hashtag, there are pictures of her... but we don‘t really know what she is! When we adopted her, they listed her as “Mixed.” She‘s gray & has ears that stick up, rather than ears that flop. She‘s not a dwarf. My guess is that she‘s part-Himalayan... or maybe Californian?...because we met her sister who was white with a brown smudge-nose (so cute, too). 😍🐰 It‘s really a mystery! 🤷♀️ 6y
Regi_C @monalyisha she's adorable though! 🐇💖💖 She kind of looks Himalayan, but maybe a bit of Rex mixed in? Eho cares, though, she's your baby bun! We only know Sammie and Elsa are Dutch because they're both from the same unwanted litter, but they (esp. Elsa) lack most of the markings 6y
monalyisha @Regi_C She‘s definitely soft like a Rex. It‘s fun to wonder sometimes... but yeah, it doesn‘t matter! I love that you have two! We thought about getting her a husbun once, & we took her on a vigorous round of bunny speed-dating at the shelter (House Rabbit Network) but she was decidedly uninterested. We keep talking about trying again, maybe, since it‘s been awhile - but she‘s so well-behaved that we‘re afraid to ruin it! 😆 6y
Regi_C @monalyisha Maybe she's cool being the single wine aunt bun of your household! It's a good life, can't blame her, and you never know how her behavior might change since bonded buns act a bit differently. Mine were bonded from basically birth, so I adopted them together. Only Sammie ventures out to spend time with me, though... 6y
monalyisha @Regi_C Moxie doesn‘t like to be held but she chills with us quite a bit. We had an AMAZING stretch where she actually slept in bed with us. Omg. It was the BEST... but then, after weeks & weeks, she decided she actually *did* want to pee on the bed. So tragic. 😭 Still, she sleeps in her bunny bed in the same room as us so she‘s still close. And sometimes we make a bed on the floor with a futon mattress & *that* she never pees on. 🙄 #bunnyrules (edited) 6y
Regi_C @monalyisha OMG she actually slept in your bed? That sucks about the pee, though. Mine are pretty good about their litter but I can barely trust Sammie to roam on her own because she loves wires a little too much 6y
