“Daisy loved her ball.”
this book teaches a great lesson of having important possessions in the heartache that can come with losing these possessions. This book teaches the importance of having hope and also being resilient and teaches how to move forward from heart events.
this story teaches the things of friendship, laws, and resilient through a dog named Daisy. Daisy has a beloved red ball and it becomes the center of her playtime and brings her a lot of joy. Something terrible happens to her ball and Daisy has to learn how to handle these emotions.
I will use this in my classroom if I had a student dealing with loss. I would also have my students write what they think the book is about. I could use this to have my students practice plot sequencing, prediction, summary, etc.
