I was very excited to read this book because it was a Caldecott winner, however after reading it I‘m surprised it was even nominated. I thought the book was lacking a lot. The moral of the story was the best part, but I would never use this content in my class. I was disappointed, unfortunately. #UCF3414SP20

LeahH It‘s funny you posted this book. I use to read it over and over again to my mom when I was little. It wasn‘t the best book, but bc I had basically memorized the whole thing, I thought I was the best reader haha!! 4y
MaddyJ I used to love this story as a kid!! This was my absolutely favorite! 4y
Ryan_R https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/lesson-plans/teaching-content/frog-and-toad-... Scholastic has a great activity to go along with this reading! 4y
DrSpalding This is a very honest post! This book has a very interesting past and considering the time frame that it one, it was quite controversial. Scholastic is always an excellent resource. Be sure to always include universal design and English learner strategies. (edited) 4y
