pickYou can‘t really read it as a stand alone. Having read the first two this is as good as it gets. Charlotte Holmes at her best, twists and turns, mortal peril and drama. I am not gonna spoil anything. Thomas took Holmes‘ tropes and made them her own, all of them. It‘s part of the DNA of this series to appeal to the Holmes‘ fans in a way that is fresh and new. My hope is that Livia‘s literary endeavours bare fruits soon. #TheHollowOfFear #netGalley
