Took me awhile to get into this book on serial reader; the introduction to this Signet Classics copy by Regina Barreca really ignited me. My first Wharton. Visiting her home in Lennox MA this fall with my English teacher friend, so I have to read something she wrote, right?! Also a bookclub pick for September, paired with Jeffery Eugenides novel, The Marriage Plot.
