More people know him from his epic novel #Exodus about the formation of modern-day Israel after WW2, but this intimate tale of Jewish rebellion in the Polish ghetto is so riveting and intense, you can't put it down.
pickAmazed and awed and humbled by this book. It is part of the topic of defiance and disobedience that I made a point to read more on this year and so far the very best one out of those books.
