The Poems of Tolkien being rather too hefty, and altogether too 'precious', to take on a walk to the shops, and me, apparently being unable to allow myself to hold onto the good feeling generated by Leonard and Hungry Paul, I'm reading de Beauvoir's autobiographical account of her mother's final illness and death, and her bereavement process.
