This new series is a lot of fun! I love Ms. Marvel and have been meaning to get around to Squirrel Girl.

I found a comic I actually enjoyed!!! This comic is a superhero rabbit version of the author's experience as a deaf child (her deafness was caused by meningitis when she was 4). She shows how other kids treated her and how she viewed herself. She creates a superhero el deafo to help her think about her disability in a positive way and through the help of a friend embraces her superpowers. #bookriot #femalesuperhero

#FemaleSuperhero I'm going with Buffy Summers for this one. She's been a favorite of mine since the '90s. #marchintoreading @RealLifeReading

When I see a strong Asian female protagonist, I'm still giddy with excitement. When I was younger, those images were so far and few between. But never would my awkward teenage self have imagined there would be an Asian superhero! And now there are several! I'll have more time to read this week so I plan on starting this asap. #femalesuperhero #marchintoreading

RealLifeReading Ooh I've not heard of this before!!! I mean I was already excited when Shadow Hero came out but this is an Asian female superhero. Even better! 7y
silentrequiem Have you read Raven the Pirate Princess? It's glorious! She first appears in Vol 3 of Princeless, also glorious. Highly recommend both titles. 7y
angrylilasian @RealLifeReading I love Shadow Hero! 7y
angrylilasian @silentrequiem I hadn't heard of either of these!! But they're on Hoopla so now they've moved up on my TBR. Thanks! 😄 7y

#marchintoreading day 26: #femalesuperhero

Sorry guys, a day late with this one!

I love that there are so many amazing female superheroes out there today! I've only recently read Spider Woman and the DeConnick version of Captain Marvel and they were just so much fun to read. And so are all the rest of these superheroes I've highlighted above.

#marchintoreading #femalesuperhero Zeroes, and its sequel Swarm, has six teenagers with superhero-like powers, three of them female. They are: Kelsie, who can influence a crowd's emotion; Riley, who is blind but can see through other people's eyes; and Chizara, who can crash technology with her mind.

I don't have a favorite #femalesuperhero. I love them all. However, Black Widow is one of the most interesting, for sure. I have yet to read any of the Black Widow books, but I plan to! #marchintoreading

398.2 I just saw this book and almost bought it. Do you like it? 7y
Celeste57 @398.2 I haven't read it yet, but I hope to soon! 7y

So many great #femalesuperheros. But I have to go with my first love, the #femalesuperhero I have wanted to be and wanted to be friends with since I was 3 years old. You may think I am exaggerating, but my very first prayer as a toddler was "God bless Wonder Woman." #marchintoreading
