so-so3.5⭐️ I read this for the most recent #bookcougars #readalong. For the most part I enjoyed the book, but I didn‘t expect it to be as steamy as it was. As I said during the chat session, I enjoyed the historical context of the book, but the rest of the story seemed to be a bit contrived in places. I‘m not much of a #romance reader, but I was glad to dip my toes in this genre. #2024 #fiction #bookreview #historicalfiction #fiction
pickThe end of a run on Toni Morrison. A bit emotionally draining to read them all back to back , but a wonderful way to get to know and understand an author. It was reading time well spent. 📖

I don‘t generally like commercial sauce because it sooooo sweet. The beauty of homemade is I can tone the sugar down.
I wouldn‘t be surprised if this cookbook turns out to be my favorite this year. I have several pages tabbed.
