LibraryThing user ablachly: ordered! (Dec 6, 2023, 8:38am)
LibraryThing user Petroglyph: "A Separate Reality", by Carlos Castaneda? (Dec 4, 2023, 6:58pm)
LibraryThing user Petroglyph: God jul, Sippan, och gott nytt år. Hoppas att jag valde rätt!

I did my best to include two books, but Blackwell's pricing wouldn't allow a combination of basically anything interesting with my first choice, Aliya Whiteley (in particular her short story collection "From the neck up", or the fungi-heavy "Beauty").

In the end, I settled on "Occultation and other stories" by Laird Barron (9781597805148).

Here are some of the other books I considered getting you:

"Cthulhusattva: Tales of the Black Gnosis", Edited by Scott R. Jones 9781927673164

"Future lovecraft", Edited by Silvia Moreno-Garcia and Paula R. Stiles 9781607013532

"Exemplary departures" by Gabrielle Wittkop 9781939663139

"Malpertuis", by Jean Ray 9781939663702

If We Were Villains, ML Rio 9781803364919 (much-anticipated new dark academia release)

"The House on the Borderland", by William Hope Hodgson

"Amatka", by Karin Tidbeck (Troligen föredrar du läsa den här på svenska)

A story collection by Mariana Enríquez

A story collection by Claude Seignolle

I hope these authors / texts may serve their purpose as recommendations! Happy reading! (Dec 4, 2023, 8:56am)
LibraryThing user erinclark: Geek Love by Katherine Dunn is a really good example of weird fiction, I loved it:) (Dec 2, 2023, 5:20pm)
