Recipient's book tastes

Romance! Fantasy romance are my favorites, followed closely by sci-fi and dystopian romance.

Do not get

Books by Amanda Quick/Jayne Ann Krentz/Jayne Castle - I love her, but I own most of her stuff already. Books in first person - it's a weird personal preference.

Other advice/preferences

I prefer books with adult characters, although YA aren't a no-go as long as they're older teens rather than younger ones. Books with depth and good characters - for instance, Divergent was amazing and City of Bones was not to my taste. I also prefer books that are written in third person rather than first, but again, not a deal breaker.
