TheAromaofBooks I haven't read these, but I just finished rereading one of the Swallows & Amazons books (Coot Club) wherein two sets of parents let their children go off in a sailboat with a random stranger and the two children she had staying with her 😂 She had met the parents ONCE and they are just like “oh sure a multi-day sailing/camping adventure sounds like a great time for everyone“ soooo crazy to me! 5d
