Audiobook. The Bane was hella scary! It's voice in the audio is stuck in my head 😬 I liked how this delved into religion, both the good and bad of it and ultimately left it up to the reader to decide. More backstory about Mam and Gregory, and Tom is still his headstrong, almost annoyingly positive self. Already listening to the next one.

That boggart in the beginning s way more scary than that of Harry Potter.

A good follow up that leaves you wondering more about Tom's mother and Alice as well as the Spook. You get to learn abit of the Spooks past and see some of his family. Still dont know if Alice is good or evil. #24in48 @24in48

Received book 2, 3, and 4 in my Last Apprentice/ Seventh Son series.
I devoured book 1, MC is realistic and I love the anithero vibe the Spook gives me. Plus look at those covers! 😍
Definitely recommended if you're looking for a series that doesn't stop giving.
