For her sister was sent there too, and Valor embarks on an epic plan to break her out from the inside. No one has escaped from Demidova in over three hundred years, and if Valor is to succeed she will need all of her strength, courage and love. If the plan fails, she faces a chilling fate worse than any prison ...An unforgettable story of sisterhood, valour and rebellion, Prisoner of Ice and Snow will fire you up and melt your heart all at once. Perfect for fans of Katherine Rundell, Piers Torday and Cathryn Constable.

I thought this might be a retelling of East of the 🌑 West of the ☀️ but no - it is a story of sisters... and kinda sounds like a middle grade version of prison break in a fantasy setting...

Cinfhen Your description 😂 7y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Cinfhen ☺️ wonder how accurate it is 😂 7y
readinginthedark I‘m really hoping that‘s what it is! 😆 7y

Mehso-so

Finished this last night! I did enjoy it, and it was quite gripping, but it was very linear in it story telling (then this happened, then this happened) the twists were easy to spot (although I suppose for a middle grade novel they were sufficient). What I did like were the characters. I'd say this story is about friendships and sisterly love, and it portrays both of those well. Another off the #tbrbingo

WhatDeeReads Haven‘t heard of this one before. Looks interesting. 7y
laurieluna @WhatDeeReads it was a good story. A very quick read and an easy enough plot to follow for it's target audience. It's plugged as a cross between The Hunger Games and Frozen, as it's about 2 sisters trying to escape a childrens' prison. 7y
WhatDeeReads @miralunasbooknook Oh wow! That sounds great! 7y

Yet another one for my tbr. From Bloomsbury Publishing. Haven't read much middle grade stuff but this sounds interesting! Described as a cross between Prison Break and Frozen on goodreads, it centres around 2 sisters, one of which is trying to break the other out of prison by being arrested herself.
