Here‘s my quarterly update for #ReadingAmericas2023! So far, I have visited 17 countries in my reading. I wanted to have at least 12 by this point, so I‘m very happy with my progress!

I‘m a sucker for reading articles about the continent we‘re reading for the #readingcontinents challenges. So since it‘s #readingtheAmericas this year, this article was fascinating.

I got a great start on #ReadingAmericas2023 in January! I read 8 books/countries. Uruguay, Jamaica and Canada were particular standouts.

Soubhiville That‘s a great start! 1y

Pickpick

Interesting idea for a book; taking the entire history of both North and South America and trying to show how the current inequalities developed. If you can get past some generalizations (which the author acknowledges), it's definitely worth a read.
