I didn't find the author in the database so chose a different book about the same women. Born Jeanne Poisson, she became the mistress of Louis XV at 23. Through this position she gained the king's trust, in such a degree that for many years she was the one ruling in France. This was a really interesting story to read. #WomeninPolitics #spookyoctober
