A little dry and technical in spots. Still a must-read for Christie mystery fans. I liked all the true crime stories the author wove into her discussion of forensics.

This was a great read! A pseudo biography of Agatha Christie and her contributions to forensic science. A nurse by training, she used her knowledge from nursing to inform the books she wrote.

brittanyreads Does this spoil her books? 2y
Smartypants @BrittanyReads it doesn‘t, it talks more about how she uses her training and experience as a nurse to inform how she wrote about poisoning in particular but doesn‘t reveal the “who did it”. It also talks about her writing shaped modern day forensics, with terminology, crime scene analysis and autopsies. I haven‘t read all her books yet but I think it will make me appreciate her books so much more. 2y
brittanyreads Thank you! I've been wanting to read this but haven't read a lot of her books and would be so sad to be spoiled! I will have to pick it up now. It sounds so interesting ☺️ 2y

It's been a hot minute. Been on a real true crime kick recently, and combining that with my love of all things literature related is sure to be a hit.
