This line gets me in the heart every time. Liu Qingge is utterly sincere. No matter how burdensome Shen Qingqiu becomes, he will bear it. Alone if he must.

This isn't my favourite volume, but I do love the ending.

Shen Qingqiu's face is absolutely a picture here as he learns about “the Regret of Chunshan“. But he's so clever figuring out how to get free (even though we know it isn't going to get him far).

Liu Qingge! 💙 I am sad there's no art at all in this chapter, surely there should be something epic for Luo Binghe's battle with Liu Qingge.

I still can't help shipping Liu Qingge/Shen Qingqiu as well. I love Luo Binghe/Shen Qingqiu, but Liushen would be so lovely too.

I find it so funny that Luo Binghe is so very bad at kissing.

I mean, when would he have learned? He only loves Shen Qingqiu. But still... it's really funny how bad at this they both are. I can't remember if Luo Binghe's worked out it really is Shen Qingqiu (and not just a dream), too. I guess I'll find out.

Back to rereading this again -- I do love it, I'm just pretty slow and lacking in attention span lately. We get to see a bit of the world apart from Luo Binghe in this chapter, including another showdown between Sha Hualing and Liu Mingyan.

Also more character-building for Shen Qingqiu and his endless denial of being gay. He's not turned off by women, okay?! Just respectful! That's definitely it!

Ah Shen Qingqiu, you love Binghe so much and you have no real clue how you feel.

I'd kind of forgotten Liu Qingge was there to see it, and Ning Yingying's speech to Binghe afterward. Silly Liu Qingge, do you really think Shen Qingqiu wants you to avenge him, after he just saved Luo Binghe's life? But I think that's just the only way Liu Qingge knows to handle his emotions in the moment. I don't think Bai Zhan peak teaches emotional intelligence.

I'm really not getting through the reread as fast as I would've liked, but at least I managed to read more today. Shen Qingqiu's total misunderstanding of what's going on continues to wreak havoc!

Finally getting back to my reread! Chapter six overall, I think this is? First chapter of this volume. And if only Shen Qingqiu would just properly communicate with Luo Binghe, we wouldn't be in this position, sigh.

Darn, SQQ/Cucumber-bro is clueless, but in a way that's mostly funny. I'd love to get more of an insight into LBG's thoughts...

I'm not really ending up sticking to my #BookSpinBingo list, since I got a bunch of new books in a comfort-shopping spree after my eye injury... but I HAVE got started on this one. It's so dramatic and over the top, and ugh, I'm so sucked in.

Also currently reading Cat Sebastian's We Could Be So Good, and Juliet E. McKenna's The Cleaving.

These books are legit my guilty pleasure reads. The world building is great and the concept of being sucked into a world you read about is intriguing. I‘m so glad my co-worker turned me onto these series.

Fluffball dog + volume two of THE SCUM VILLAIN‘S SELF-SAVING SYSTEM. It took me a little while to sink back into the story, but I‘m there now and it‘s great. I don‘t think it‘ll take me very long to finish it, provided Casey gives me a break from my all-important dog-snuggling duties.

Oh look…. My addiction. I‘ll be back. 😅😅😅😅
