So Much Blood
So Much Blood | Simon Brett
3 posts | 3 read
Appearing in his own one-man show on Thomas Hood at the Edinburgh Festival, middle-aged actor Charles Paris finds himself falling for a gorgeous young girl with navy-blue eyes. He also finds himself being dragged into a complex murder investigation involving the death of a fading pop star, a bomb scare in Holyrood Palace and a suicide leap from the top of the Rock.

Pickpick

Another fun quick read from Simon Brett. Always enjoy the Charles Paris series, this one set at the Edinburgh Festival was read by the author. Also worth keeping an eye (ear?) out fir the BBC Radio
Reductions of this series.

7th book finished for #FabulousFebruary.

Mehso-so

Book 2 of the Charles Paris series. Charles fills in at the last minute at a theater review in Edinburgh. While watching a terrible rehearsal, an actor is killed by a knife that was supposed to be fake. Called an accident, but Charles has other ideas and begins to investigate, between trips to the local pubs (as usual)! I am hoping this series gets a bit more interesting, as the premise of the main character is good, just needs a bit more.

CarolynM I read a couple of these a few years ago and I have to agree with you. Not as good as they could have been. 4y
Crazeedi @CarolynM crap, I've been hoping they get better! Oh well, have you read the other series by this author? 4y
CarolynM I've read a couple of the Blotto and Twinks series, which were kind of funny, but the humour was a bit forced. 4y
Crazeedi Is this the series? 4y
