A Family to Love
A Family to Love: (The Callaghan Sisters Book 1) | Louise Grey
2 posts | 1 read | 1 to read
(Originally published as "Candace")
She’s a breath away from thirty and is in love for the first time… with the wrong man.
Candace’s charming small town, Lakeshore, is in trouble. When her boss decides to sell out to a Norwegian bio-engineering company, it only means one thing. Massive job cuts.
But before the final negotiations begin, Candace has an unfortunate run-in with the company’s lead negotiator, Marcus Sigurdsson.
To fix things, Candace offers to take the aloof, handsome man out on a grand tour of Lakeshore. She hopes he’ll come to love what makes the town so charming: it’s people and traditions. But it’s meeting her family that banishes the shadows behind his eyes.
The more time Marcus spends with her family: watching dinosaur cartoons with her nephew on their lumpy couch, or wearing the zany sweaters her youngest sister knits, the more Candace’s attraction grows for the man beneath the professional armor.
But with the lives of her family and small town on the line, will her new found love survive his final decision?
A Family to Love is the first book in the Callaghan Sisters series. Enjoy this clean, heart-stirring romance that celebrates the love and uniting power of family.

Pickpick

There was so much I liked about this book. Going into it I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it because I didn't care for another series I read from this author. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop.

I plan to read the rest of the books in the series, hopefully they will be as good as this one. Each book follows one of the sisters as they find their happily ever after.
