This is a favorite cozy mystery series. Lana Lee is a great main character, and the author makes the most the setting, an Asian shopping center in Cleveland. Her descriptions make me want to visit those shops, even though the center has had more than its share of murders! I‘m glad I still have a few left to finish before I‘m caught up to the series.

SamanthaMarie I love this series too! I think I'm on book 4? I need to get caught up as well. 2y
MallenNC @SamanthaMarie It‘s fun! This is book six. I just checked and there‘s only one more out. But book 8 is due in January! 2y
SamanthaMarie Oh boy, I'm definitely behind then. I will blame our move to a new state and having a baby on that haha. I've fallen behind in almost all the cozy mystery series I follow. But this holiday season is the perfect time to catch up 🥰🍂🌲 2y
MallenNC @SamanthaMarie Either one of those alone is a good reason! I read the first couple of these and then left of the rest for no real reason until recently. I‘m trying to catch up on series, but then of course I hate to have to wait on the next one! 2y
SamanthaMarie @MallenNC I know! Waiting is always a bummer. But when it arrives in the mail or you get to go get it at the bookstore... such a good feeling haha! 2y

#bookspin July done! Yeehaw! Just a comfy, Chinese-restaurant-centric murder book. My four year old has picked up on the fact that frequently my books have skulls hidden on the cover (because dead people) and she said, “mama, you are going to become a zombie! Too many dead people!“ And did I mention I am an obsessed genealogist, and that I've been dragging them to visit the cemetery lately because I'm working on a refurbishment and ⬇

mrsmarch plaque installation at the place where my DAR chapter's organizing regent was buried? Me: “We need to stop at the cemetery.“ My 8 y.o.: “Which cemetery?“ Me: “The one in Dunstable, on the way to Mimi & Papa's house.“ Her: “What?“ Me: “MRS. RYDINGSVARD.“ Her: “Ohhhhhhh! Okay!!“ 🙃 3y
