Oral history of the "English underground" with contributions from around one hundred of the most significant movers and shakers of that turbulent decade. Just up my Carnaby Street.
One of the most enjoyable aspects is the juxtaposition of the testimonies, which frequently contradict one another. I guess if you can remember the sixties you weren't there, as they say.

Ruthiella The contradictions in the accounts just goes to show how we tend to want to summarize the past in a solid, sense making way. But it was as contradictory and complicated then as now...🤓 3y
