Pandas🐼 This NF, IR is a great classroom resource for students to learn accurate information about pandas. The book discusses facts like; most pandas are located in China, they eat primarily bamboo (20-40 pounds a day), there are only about 1600 pandas left in the wild and many more interesting panda bear and red panda facts. While this book doesn‘t hold a theme, it provides educational information in an easy-read form perfect for the classroom.

acassatta The UDL principles that align best are 3.1, activate background knowledge and 7.1, optimize individual choice. With an IR strategy book, students are able to choose a both they find interest in and this can benefit a student for future biological lessons (background knowledge). The ESOL strategy #43, underlining important facts works well with this book. #ucflae3414sp21 3y
