Yesterday, they closed my library and made me teach 1st grade. We could hear half the pod erupt in leprechaun chaos while we had our class meeting. The kids were despondent waiting for me to sort out poorly laid plans. A parent came in and asked if I needed help. 🙏. I sent her to my library to get this book. At the end of the day, we had a parfait partay, a movie, and everything worked out. #stpatricksday

Ruthiella A happy ending to your Friday! ❤️ 2y
mandarchy @Ruthiella it was touch and go at the start, but the kids were happy by the end of the day. I constantly praise them for handling it so well. 2y

I can't wait to read this #outloud to my students in person.

Do you say aloud or outloud? I'm curious if outloud is a regional thing.

jessijames We say aloud but I‘m in South Alabama. We say everything different. 4y
MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm I say out loud here in Central Indiana. Curious to see the results of this inquiry too! 😅 4y
Tattooedteacher For me in depends on the context. I do a read aloud in the classroom, but but sometimes students have to read out loud so I can hear them. 4y
mandarchy This is really interesting. I think I use them interchangeably, except I use outoud more when I'm speaking and aloud when I'm writing. 4y
