What happens if we had our first encounter with an extraterrestrial technology and we missed it? In this book Loeb argues that it could very well be the case in 2017 when Oumuamua, a interstellar object passed through our solar system only being observed as it exited. Most believe this to be a asteroid but Loeb an astronomer at Harvard argues that it‘s flight path was more characteristic of a technological artefact. A book asking for a more

You guys, I am fully convinced: we are not alone. I had already been in the camp of “how can there be no other beings somewhere out there?!” And not so much the “I‘ve had an alien encounter and believe in little green men” camp. But to hear this intelligent astrophysicist lay out why we need to explore the possibility of life outside of earth (much goes over my head) but makes so much sense when he lays it out there in a semi-understandable way.⬇️

Chelsea.Poole ⬆️cont from above. In October 2017 an unusual object in space was captured by an incredble, high powered telescope. The author believes it could be an object created by beings. He thinks we should be exploring this much more than we are. I agree! 3y
