Loved Ender's Game and love titles with Thief so I am hoping this book won't be a disappointment when I get to it. It is book two in the series.

Another great read. Took a little while to get back to understanding the characters due to the gap between the first and second book. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It took a little while to get into this book (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) but i am glad i stuck with it.

Characters are a little but difficult to connect with to start with. However, with time it all falls into place.

Book 1 has definitely set up book 2 for a strong plot.

Sad to say, this one just could not keep my attention. If I had been reading it in print instead of audio-booking, I probably would have bailed.

Ok, so I'm setting this one aside. I've read the first few chapters and I'm not absorbing anything. Now I'll be switching to The 5th Wave and then, afterwards, The Infinite Sea. Maybe a change of "scenery" will help...

First break I've taken since I fat-fingered my previous time away. Still mad. However, onward! #24in48
