Voyage a Marseille, an Easy French Story
Voyage a Marseille, an Easy French Story: With English Glossaries Throughout the Text | Sylvie Lainé
1 post | 1 read
Beginners: A1-B1 Louis and Melba are back in a new story in French for beginners/intermediate ! They will meet a mysterious lady in Marseille... Tailored to the needs of English and German speakers, the book is a pleasant way of expanding your vocabulary and building your confidence. The story is written in a simple and basic style, similar to the common spoken language. There is no need for a dictionnary: key words are listed under each paragraph. At the end of the book, all new words are summed up in a complete vocabulary section. Simple and easy to read, Voyage a Marseille is also amusing. A good mix of grammar constructs is used, with basic and useful vocabulary. The story is written in tenses used in normal conversation: present tense, and just the right amount of future tense, passe compose and imparfait. For beginners/intermediate level: A1-B1 (DELF)

I really enjoyed this story and could understand 99% of it, which makes me very happy. The glossary on every page is very helpful to anyone learning French. This series is available on kindle unlimited. I highly recommend this series! 5âï¸

I also read it out loud to help with learning the pronunciations. 🤓
