Interview by Thurston Moore, Essay by Exene, Introduction by Marc Jacobs 1977: Punk rock music and fashion caught like wildfire the world over. But it was in San Francisco and L.A. where the most radical behaviour in stateside punk rock style and attitude was exhibited. Travelling between the two cities, Jocoy shot portraits of every punk rock personality that caught his eye, including some of the more celebrated punk legends such as Darby Crash, Iggy Pop, Lydia Lunch, Sid Vicious, John Waters and The Cramps. 125 full-colour photos.
