Pickpick

I read this tense cat-and-mouse thriller in one sitting. Terrific pacing, it's page-turning, gripping suspense and police procedural done right, albeit not breaking new ground.

Set in Queensland, Australia - it's not often I get to read a book set in such familiar locales, so that was an added bonus 😄

The author is a Queensland police officer and it shows, the dialogue, characters and inner workings of the police force all ring true.

A new bus/commute read started this morning. Much buzz for this book last year and was able to lock it up from the library so here we go...
