Read an English translation in A Certain William, ed. Lieblein.

While some might appreciate this adaptation for its clever use of Quebec history, my political views do not match the message of the play, so it was not for me. I also found it telling that, in this version, the two female characters represent a man and an institution (the Church). Women need a voice in politics!
