She may be more of a tragedy icon than an #americassweetheart but is also remembered for her lifelong contributions to the arts and preservation of historic architecture. As well as for her style, elegance, and grace - a fashion icon. Amidst scandals and all, she still enthrals the world.

Pickpick

"She was a mystery to herself as much as anyone." What a life she led! So spoiled, entitled, and manipulative, Jackie O led a fascinating, tragic life. I think the only people she truly loved were her children, all others played parts in her life yet at the end of the book I was saddened that with her died a legend and end of an era.

Just two chapters in, and it's already an eye opening read. As a history major/teacher I know much about JFK & apparently nothing about Jackie. I might as well learn since I'm not teaching for awhile.

A guest came in today reading this book. She highly recommended it! She also recommended signing up for www.bookbub.com to get free and inexpensive ebooks for your Kindle or Nook. I told her about Litsy while she let me take a picture of her book. 😁
