We‘ve lost nuance and empathy
And gained hatred and othering
Again
Daily reminder that two truths can be held and humanity is just that - human.

Read both sides, read against your confirmation bias, read to learn to not use as a weapon or avenue to hate.

Ted talk Sunday sermon food for thought musings.
Life is too short to be consumed by hatred and the ego of I am right ..
Divide and conquer is oldest trick in the book- don‘t fall for it.

Saddened to hear the news of the passing of Rabbi Lord Sacks. An inspirational speaker, writer and person, who I feel privileged to have heard speak earlier this year.

Andrew65 I‘m sorry I never got to hear him speak. 4y
Connster @Andrew65 Such a shame. 4y

I‘ve spent most of the afternoon watching a live stream of the Yom HaShoah commemorations. Currently, Rabbi Lord Sacks is speaking with Karen Pollock (who I went to Lithuania with in 2013). Both are fantastic...so knowledgeable, thoughtful and thought-provoking.

MySharonaK Do you know if there is anywhere I can watch it now? 4y
Connster @MySharonaK I watched it here: https://www.yomhashoah.org.uk/live It‘s not online now, but Monday‘s events can be watched, so I assume yesterday‘s events will be made available too 👍 4y
MySharonaK @Connster thank you 🧡 4y
