pickI‘ve had a tough time sleeping this week, probably from trouble adjusting back to work after my trip home to see family. So I picked up this childhood favorite to reread before bed last night. It‘s a brief little mystery set in 1920s Britain where a rich grandfather leaves his house to his parrot— unless one of his family members can find the key he‘s hidden... This may be the book that made me a mystery reader, and I‘m happy to say it holds up.
