Library haul! MR & MRS X is another X-series they snuck through processing when I wasn‘t looking, and I dunno whether I feel cautious or excited. Rogue‘s my current co-fave (with Storm). Gambit was Teenage Me‘s fave, but Adult Me finds him kinda creepy. I was disappointed when they got back together—BUT, I do generally love writer Kelly Thompson, and I‘m keen on the spacefaring angle and some of the supporting characters.

So we‘ll see.

Ever since The X-Men cartoons I‘ve found Gambit creepy. And the more authors and cover artists insisted that readers see him as “dreamy” or “romantic” the creepier I found him. Who knew that all it took for me to give the character a second chance was all of the X-men, and Deadpool, ragging on him nonstop?

Can't receive these issues fast enough. Been enjoying the long time coming union of Mr. And Mrs. X. Not largely interesting material, but fun all the same. #remyandrogue4eva

How does this book not have a cover already?! Vol 1. finds my favorite X-Men on their honeymoon and then Kitty calls. Seriously, right now?! #marvel #gambitandrogue4eva
