This series always brings such a smile to my face. You don't get a lot of stories of witches living in the real work let alone watching them train to become one. Makoto showed how handy she was and self reliant on things she needs for herself which I think is great for young readers. Finally, one of my favorite parts was learning about some more of the different creatures within the magical part of this world
