Pickpick

New episode is up and out! We talk a little James Ellroy, a little Sally Rooney, a little MacArthur Genius grant, and we make our super bowl picks. It's good stuff. Check it out.

jessinikkip Is it just the audio or am I overlooking an option for a written transcript? 3y
Therewillbebooks @jessinikkip Just the audio. It's also on Spotify though 3y
jessinikkip OK, then I will have to check to see if the spotify platform offers transcript/captions. Thanks :) 3y

Pickpick

Third installment of the Underworld USA trilogy sees Wayne mobbed up and working for Howard Hughes and Dwight infiltrating black radical groups for Hoover. The prose is more reader-friendly than the previous volume but it's still hard to keep track of exactly what's going on amid all the plots and double-crosses. Pulsating as always but never an easy read.
