How many nights a week do you cook dinner?
#litsycooks

Tamra I would say usually all week - I guess that‘s the upside to living in a small town with few ethnic choices, otherwise it would be dangerous for the bank account and my weight. 😂 Yay for corn on the cob! 😋 5y
tournevis We have home cooked on most days, but I aim to cook on five days a week only, with one meal from take out at most. I usually cook many portions at a time, planning for plenty of leftovers and lunches. We had meatloaf tonight, but we'll also have meatloaf for lunch tomorrow. I try to have a cooking day, either Saturday or Sunday, every week. 5y
CarolynM I'm the weeknight cook, my husband often cook on weekends. 5y
Crazeedi Practically every night, sometimes it's leftovers from previous. We rarely eat out, in fact we had corn on the cob tonight!!💕 5y
Tamra @tournevis I too love big batches & leftovers! 5y
Tamra @CarolynM lucky you! 5y
CouronneDhiver None? Lol I suck at cooking 5y
TheBookHippie @Tamra I cook all week all meals and pack lunches ! 🤣 corn on the cob a favorite of mine!!! 5y
TheBookHippie @CouronneDhiver 🤣 it‘s not for everyone. My daughter just stops by with a plate 😳🤣 5y
TheBookHippie @Crazeedi I adore summer corn! 5y
Shvonne Depends on the week. Some weeks 2- 3 times, others not at all. #singleLife 5y
TheBookHippie @Shvonne if I were single it‘d be the same!!! 5y
TheBookHippie @tournevis I love leftovers. I‘m the only one though!!! I love cooking huge batches! 5y
tournevis @TheBookHippie I don't know why people don't like leftovers. It's like they want to waste, they like to waste. Don't get it. 5y
TheBookHippie @tournevis I know right?!?!?!? Ugh 5y

1. The tagged book, which I got back in the mid 70‘s, and is still my favorite resource.
2. In the sense that it‘s meat between bread, yes.
3. Cat Cora. I ate at the restaurant she had at Disney World, plus her books are wonderful.
4. Nothing super weird, really. Mustard on pretzels, but that‘s really Pennsylvania Dutch, my ancestry.

JoScho Cat Cora is great! 6y
umbrellagirl Yay for being PA Dutch! I love a good pretzel. I think it must be genetic. 6y
Lynnsoprano @umbrellagirl Definitely in the genes😄 6y
Christine I adored Cat Cora‘s memoir! How fun that you‘ve had her food. 6y
Lynnsoprano @Christine We were so upset that her restaurant at Disney closed. It was sooo good. 6y
