It's been asleep for centuries and now it's awake. It wants things... Seven hundred years ago the Anasazi people built massive cities in what is now the Southwestern United States...and then they vanished. The idea behind the book isn‘t that bad, but unfortunately, the execution is. The writing is really juvenile and repetitive (I believe a writing class would be in order), and the characters are completely flat. It annoyed me at times, but I did manage to finish the book.
