The Wrong Child
The Wrong Child: A gripping thriller you won't be able to put down | Barry Gornell
1 post
How far would you go to protect your child? When tragedy strikes in a small Scottish village, everyone in the community is affected. Most people believe one child is to blame for what happened. But could a little boy really be responsible? And what lengths will his parents go to protect him? THE WRONG CHILD is the most thought-provoking novel of 2018, perfect for fans of WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN by Lionel Shriver and MY ABSOLUTE DARLING by Gabriel Tallent. **************** READERS ARE CALLING THE WRONG CHILD 'UNFORGETTABLE': 'Amazing' - Amazon 5* review 'A great page-turner!' I am struggling to get into this...What do you guys do when a book just isn't gripping you? I am loathed to give up in case I miss out!! 😔

mylifeas_marissa I have the same issue. I usually stop reading the book, read something else, and then go back to it. Or I'll read 2 books at the same time. 6y
charlotteamber @faerie_druid That's a good idea! Think I'll have to because I'm getting nowhere with this one. 6y
Maria514626 @charlotteamber If it hasn‘t grabbed me a 1/3 in, I leave it. It took me a long time to let myself do that. It was liberating when I did. 😄 There‘s not enough time for all the good stuff! (edited) 6y
charlotteamber @Maria514626 too true! So many books, so little time 😊 6y
KateFulfordAuthor If you‘ve space —— May I recommend my debut as a future read? See my bio for all the links you need. Thanks, Kate 6y
