pickThis was the textbook for my course on Archaeology and the Bible, and I quite enjoyed reading it. The authors do a good job at appealing to the archaeological evidence and presenting a number of different theories (particularly about the origins of the Israelites and events like the Exodus), while making clear the uncertainty which surrounds each period of time. Would definitely recommend if you are interested in biblical history or archaeology 👍
