Bailedbailed

A collection of the most inane short stories ever. When a dowager advises her son (the current duke) to seduce a widow at her house party because the younger woman hasn't been laid in over a year and then worries if he's become impotent just because he sensibly refuses (this isn't even a villainous family) no, just no. A forward thinking conversation, to be sure, but I was officially scandalized and, frankly, a little grossed out.

Christy2318 That is an odd story line! 6y
Lupa08 @Christy2318 Isn't it? The storyline is indeed about a duke determined to seduce a chaste widow at his mother's Christmas house party in the hopes of liberating her sensuality, only he realizes how inappropriate his sentiments are when his mother tries to persuade him into the very same act, and so forth. There's liberalism and then there's just senseless aberration! 6y
Christy2318 @lupa08 Yes! No one wants to have that conversation with their mom...or their kid. 😱🤢 6y
